Horrible Adorables are the creations of Jordan Elise Perme and Christopher Lees, a wife and husband team from Cleveland, Ohio. Jordan and Chris bring their soft sculptures to life by meticulously arranging patterns of felt scales onto hand carved forms. The resulting characters have qualities that are both cartoonish and eerily realistic at the same time.
Sorbet Jungle is an independent, US-based, artist brand and springs from the creative mind of Deanne George. Sorbet Jungle specializes in unique character design coupled with clever wordplay. Deanne’s playful designs appear as vinyl toys, apparel, plushies and pins and more. Sorbet Jungle is immensely popular on the Anime Convention circuit.
Eric Althin, AKA Sad Salesman, is a Brooklyn based character artist, sculptor and toy designer. Eric has been customizing vinyl toys since 2004 and launched his own whimsical toy brand 'Sad Salesman' in 2017. Prior he was the co-founder and curator at Bold Hype Gallery.
Ben Seto is a California-based illustrator and comic artist who is currently making a comic series called “Usagi Jane and The Skullbunnies”. Ben also also enjoys making physical versions of his whimsical characters in his spare time and buys way too many toys…
Don “Datadub” Kratzer - a 30-year resident of Japan - is a creative director, event producer and self-proclaimed toy whisperer. Don is dedicated to promoting Global Designer Toy culture - introducing international artists to Japan and Japanese artists to the rest of world through his Fig-lab brand. For well over a decade, Fig-lab has exhibited at toy conventions around the world; curating custom shows, releasing limited edition toys, connecting brands to creators, and even facilitating overseas artists to produce their own “sofubi” toys in Japan.
